Keep the Village Standing

Pioneer Village started in 1972, built for Kenmare's 75th anniversary. Since then, nearly two dozen real historic buildings (a schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, a country church, family homes) have been moved here piece by piece, saved from being torn down or left to fall apart. Every one of them is kept up entirely by volunteers, and every dollar raised goes straight into keeping the doors open and the buildings standing. When you give, you're helping keep a piece of Kenmare's story from disappearing.
