Pioneer Day

Our biggest day of the year. Live music from The Moon Cats — a fiery, fuzzy three-piece folk & Americana trio from Pixley, ND, with acoustic roots and a meaningful message — plus fan-favorite readings from the Kenmare Speech Team. A full day of pioneer tradition for the whole family.

9:30 AM — Hymn singing
10:00 AM — Church service
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM — Lunch by the Mighty Grapplers
All day — Beard-growing & log-cutting contests
All day — Bounce house & milk cow demonstrations
All day — Honker Girls wrestlers selling pop & root beer floats

Evening wraps up with a steak dinner and all the fixings.

Classic Car Show

Kicks off Pioneer Days weekend with a full lineup of classic and antique cars on display at the Village grounds.

Saturday, July 11 · 5:00 – 11:00 PM

Party in the Park

A free community appreciation picnic with brats and burgers, ice cream from the KHS sophomore class, inflatables, a free movie at the Kenmare Theater, live music, a street dance with Ted & Carrie, and fireworks at dark.
